THINKING MAN’S CHAIR OUTLET
THINKING MAN’S CHAIR OUTLET
An eloquent name for a product that invites contemplation. For the Thinking Man’s Chair, Jasper Morrison has studied a design in which all the elements are functional to achieve a comfortable seat for relaxing moments of relaxation and reflection: made of flat profile in the body support areas and tubular in the main structure , the armchair offers armrests with integrated glass trays.
The Thinking Man’s Chair is available in painted metal, in green, dark gray, terracotta and chalk white. The terracotta version is available in an edition enriched with writings indicating the radii of curvature of the metal structure.
This armchair is suitable for outdoor use.
London-born Jasper Morrison graduated from the Royal College of Art in London and opened his first studio in 1986 to start a long and fertile collaboration with Cappellini immediately afterwards.
This fortunate meeting between two names that have marked the design of the twentieth century has led to the inclusion in the collection of more than 30 projects characterized by a clear distinctive figure. Impossible not to mention the Thinking Man’s Chair, the first four-handed product with Cappellini, or the Low Pad armchairs, the Elan, Superoblong and Orla sofas.
The long list of longsellers also includes the Bac series of tables and chairs and the Cap Chair armchairs, as well as the Simplon and Gamma series of tables, without forgetting stylish furnishing accessories such as the 3 Green Bottles vases and the Mirror mirror.
Today busy between London and Paris for important names such as Alessi, Flos, Rowenta, Sony and Samsung, Jasper Morrison gives his projects a minimalist elegance that makes them extremely modern, while acting as a sort of essential archetype linked to the past, always putting function to expression
