brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec establish themselves in the world of design with a first important job for Issey Miyake, in 2000.
In a few years, they put two monographs into business, the “Catalog de Raison” and the subsequent publication by Phaidon in 2003, which collect images of their work.
Considered rising stars on the international scene, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec propose a contemporary yet rigorous, thoughtful and at the same time passionate approach to design. Their pieces are real ‘micro architectures’, versatile to the point of being used for different functions in order to characterize and transform the spaces in which they are placed.
Among the Cappellini best-sellers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec sign the iconic Cloud bookcase, now the subject of a restyling that sees it reinterpreted using wood, the Consolle table in the With Mirror and With Bowl versions, the Basket 011 sofa and the series of open containers Butterfly.
