Reale Table Zanotta Carlo Mollino here at Gallery09 home design proposed in the Cm version which differs for its round corners compared to the other version where the corners are angular.
The solid wood structure in charcoal-stained oak and the smoked glass top.
the veiled transparency of the top reveals the labyrinth of the structure that recalls an easel used in painting and here the hallmark of the original table as if it wants to go beyond being a functional object for our life but want to place itself in the room as a slightly sculptural piece be admired
Table. Structure in natural or black stained oak or in natural Canaletto walnut; painting with wax finish. Top in extra-clear glass with 15 mm thick slanted cut edge, or in gray smoked glass with 12 mm thick slanted cut edge, combined with the black stained oak structure.
A table with an organic solid wood structure, solid and light, as if it were the detail of an aircraft wing.
A wise use of the construction technique is clearly visible in the trestle structure and in the play of joints and tie rods used to support a wide range of glass tops.
There are many variations of this table idea and one of them was designed for the Reale Mutua Assicurazioni Society.
